Week 13

Josh has finally given me access to the design tab for this blog, so I have changed the decor to fit my taste :)

This week has been a great one! The weather has been gorgeous so Jax and I have gotten to take many walks and enjoy the outdoors. We celebrated Mother's Day in NJ with the Ackleys and had a playdate with his best buddy Beckham. There are some photos on those events in prior posts. He also has been going with mommy to babysit and has been a great "toy" for the older kids.

He is growing and learning new things everyday. He is now holding his own rattles and small toys, which, along with belted jeans and shoes, make him look like such a little boy, not a baby! He is up over 17lbs and is in 3-6/6month clothing. He has started sucking on his fist and occasionally gets his thumb in there. He has been discovering his feet recently, but isn't sure yet what to do with them.

Jaxon was having a hard time with the formula we had him on so we switched to the Gerber Good Start SOY formula and he is doing great! No more gas, fussiness or pain for him, which is a huge relief for us. He is still eating full bottles, 9oz, at every feeding and at times wanting more. We have started putting a little rice cereal in his bottle and that seems to help space out the feedings a bit and keep him to 1 bottle per feed.

If you are reading and enjoy this blog, please leave us a comment so we know you were here. We are planning on printing out these pages as sort of a scrap book for Jaxon so let him know you were keeping tabs on him!
