Trick or Treating

First attempt at Trick-or-Treating.  The stores in Phoenixville opened up to hand out candy to kids so we took the boys since they might not be able to go next week with the storm approaching.  Here are some photos.

20/8

My sweet boys have had such a busy and exhausting month.  They both have had colds--which they seem to be coming off of, and they both have been teething--which has been a nightmare.  Grayson has been getting up super early and fussing his way through naptime so he is exhausted all the time; which makes him fussy all the time.  The only time he is happy is if I am holding him, which as you can imagine, would be tough enough with just him, but with Jaxon wanting attention too it is difficult.  Lots of crying happening in this house :(  Jax has been going through a growth spurt--upwards--going along with his teething.  He is still super happy and great at teething.  He just wants to cuddle a lot, which is awesome, but is hard to do when Grayson is also hurting.  It helps to know that this is a phase and will pass.

Grays is flying around the house in his walker and I love watching him play bumper cars with the island and table.  His giggle is the best!  While he plays bumper cars, I too get to play "hop out of the way" when he flies around.  It is much harder this time around with Jaxon hanging onto my legs to make the quick moves to avoid getting my ankles rammed.  I hope the walker helps Grayson to walk as quickly as it did for Jaxon.  That is going to be such a relief.  And also a sad moment for me.  I don't want them to grow up.

Jaxon is adorable as ever.  He has moved on from simply building towers with blocks to using actual legos, the LARGE ones, but still.  I can't believe how fast he is growing and learning.  He also loves to go to bed!  So for as much as he is the spitting image of Josh, I know he has some of me in there :)  When it is bedtime, or just when he gets tired, he starts saying "night night" and walking upstairs with his blanket.  It is too cute.  He is giving real hugs where he actually holds you tight which is the best.

I love these kids to death!!

I am still plugging away with Mary Kay.  It has been such a great break for me to be able to get out of the house and have something of my own.  I am also continuing to plug away with my weight loss.  I have lost 20+lbs over the last 6 weeks and want to lose another 15 by Thanksgiving.  Figured if I made it public that would help me stick to it :)

Josh found a swingset online for free so we are picking that up this weekend so standby for those photos!  Jaxon is going to FREAK!  He loves to climb and play on the jungle gyms at the park so he is going to love having a playset in his own backyard.
