PTM
Today we did a lot of things. Morning was productive housework wise and then we went out. I took the boys to get haircuts and it went surprisingly well. Then we went to the Please Touch Museum to meet MICKEY!!! Jaxon was so excited about it all morning. I told him we were going to meet Mickey and he keep laughing and saying MICKEY MICKEY!!! So cute. So of course, when it is our turn he freaks out.
After that we walked around PTM for a while, they have a space exhibit which is awesome because Jaxon is really into rockets right now. There was a game where you picked up foam rockets and could press a button and shoot them into the air and he totally loved that! Also one where you could steer a rocket and he loved that as well.
These last photos are of them enjoying their lunches once we got home with their new haircuts and first time wearing their new boots!

Christmas in TX 2012
This Christmas was eventful to say the least. We got sick as a family 3 days before we were supposed to be getting on a plane to fly to TX to spend the holidays with the Rigstads. Like, violently ill-I can't get out of bed-sick. It was awful. My sweet sister-in-law came over and picked up Grayson, since he was the only one who hadn't gotten it yet so that Josh and I could just deal with Jaxon. We spent most of Wednesday through Saturday in bed watching movies with him. Then Lindsey got sick, so she left Grayson with my parents, and the next morning my dad was sick. This thing is spreading like wildfire! So we warned the Rigstads, but of course they said come down anyway. So we head down. Grayson's first plane ride and he was not so happy. Neither of them were, but they are "infants" and it was their bedtime so we weren't surprised.
We celebrated with the Rigstads on Christmas eve and had a great visit! Jaxon was so excited to play with the older kids and LOVED opening and playing with his gifts! He loves "George in the box". The next day we went to Kristin's (Josh's sister) house for dinner and saw her husband's side of the family as well. It was another great visit. Although before we left Kristin's youngest was vomiting and minutes later Kristin got sick. The next morning we heard that both her other children had been up with fits of vomiting as well. Also when we woke up both Josh's parents were sick, so we were sort of a blessing and a curse this year.
On our way home we had a direst flight and had to get the kids up early to make the flight on time. It was a 7:45 flight and got us in at 11:30am. Perfect timing to get them home in time for naps. So of course, we miss our flight and the next flight is connecting and doesn't get us in until 5:30. So we hung out in the airport for several hours and then started our journey home. Boys were amazing all things considered. I was in worse shape than they were.
I was still not feeling well while we were down there so we don't have many photos, but what we do have is posted. Enjoy!
All in all.....not the best 2 weeks we've ever had, but still good to see family for the holidays.
