It's been quite a while since my last post, and for that I am sorry. I know for many of you who read this blog, it is the only way you see our sweet babies and know what is going on with us, so for that I apologize. Shockingly, life with a new (part time) job and 2 little ones is leaving me tired at the end of the day and not wanting to do anything but sleep.
Below are some photos from our trip to BJs today. Jaxon picked out a Toy Story (which he is SO into right now) coloring book, which he is holding in most of the photos. He was so happy about it! He was also "helping" me organize the tupperware cabinet while I made prepared food for Grayson's puree.
Jaxon is doing great! He is getting taller by the minute, and his weight gain is slower. He is as cute as can be. He giggles all day long, which is my favorite sound in the whole world. He loves to build towers and topple them over. He loves to play hide and seek and pretend to be a ghost by hiding under his favorite blanket (also in the photos) and walking around the room. He often will fall because he is cracking up and not looking where he is going. He still love to stack his cups and gather and organize toys. He is singing doing motions to songs and loves to color.
Grayson is growing too, but not as fast as Jaxon. He is sitting up now, which is awesome! He is happy to just sit up on the playmat and watch what everyone is doing. He and Jax will play together well for a few minutes and then Jax will get possessive over the toys, so we are working on that. Grayson is flying around our living room in the walker. It really seems like yesterday that was Jaxon. He has gotten 2 teeth since our last post and working on a few more. He went for about a month (which could easily explain my blogging hiatus) waking up several times a night, which was horrible. He wasn't even up that much as an infant. After a month we put him in the basement in the pack and play so he could cry it out without waking up Jaxon. It took 2 days before he was sleeping through the night again. So he is back up in his crib and doing great.
We are really excited about the weather too, it is nice and cool out but still sunny, so we have been spending mot of our days playing outside. Both boys LOVE the outdoors! I am so excited to have campouts in the backyard with them! Then once they are old enough they can go on real camping trips with their poppa.
I am hoping to get them out soon to the pumpkin patch and get some photos of them soon, so check back for those. I am sure they will be the cutest ever!!!
