This week Jaxon was very busy! He made his first trip to church, had a couple playdates, several visits from folks who had not yet met him, and attended his first Flyers game with front row seats and even got a game puck right off the ice before a face off!!Jaxon hit the 7 week mark today. He is still "sleeping through the night" which means 8 hours in a row. Although when he chooses to start those 8 hours is still a bit erratic; it can be anywhere from 7:30pm to 11pm, and then he is up at 4am or 5am up and ready to go and SUPER hungry. Once he wakes up, whenever that is, he is famished and wants to eat every hour for the first 3 hours and will consume anywhere from 10-15oz during that period. He also thinks it is time to play once he wakes up which makes momma very tired--but so worth it! He has graduated to size 2 diapers (which I should have done a while ago, just couldn't bring myself to waste the rest of the size ones) and I don't think it will be very long before he is into size 3. He is 14.5lbs as of the weekend and size 3 starts at 16ish lbs. This child is growing like a weed! He hasn't chubbed up yet, still is a normal size, just had this huge pot belly. I was kind of hoping that at some point he would be rolly polly like the pillsbury dough boy (I LOVE fat babies), but he seems to be keeping up with his vertical growth nicely.
